The flight school that built its own software
Aviation Helper grew out of Fly4Fun's own frustration in Bad Ragaz: reservations in one system, the training record on paper, invoicing in a spreadsheet at month end. Today everything runs in one app – and it is open to other flight schools.

The record on paper
Who flew which lesson when and with whom, what was discussed, which check is due? It's in the binder – or in the instructor's head.
When can which instructor?
WhatsApp groups, phone calls, polls. The student reserves the aircraft and hopes the instructor is free.
Invoicing at month end
Flight time, briefing, theory, trial flights, vouchers, instructor fees: collected from different sources and poured into invoices.

Training record (syllabus)
Your school's syllabus becomes a digital record. When logging a flight the student picks the lesson objectives practised, instructor and student note their assessment in the debriefing, checks per stage are confirmed – and the flight with a second instructor is proven automatically.

Instructor availability and primary instructor
Instructors maintain their own times: fixed weekdays, single dates, absences. The reservation only shows who can really make it. Each student can be assigned a primary instructor – pre-selected, with other instructors available on request.

Theory lessons
Theory is booked like a reservation: topic instead of route, with a theory instructor. Students request lessons, others join. After the lesson the instructor confirms who attended – only then is it invoiced, in the regular invoice run.

Trial flights and prospects
The instructor flags the trial flight right in the logbook. The guest is stored as a contact without an account – and the contacts page carries the follow-up. If they join later, the flight is credited to their record.

- Instructor fee counts exactly the flight time
Invoicing that knows everything
Flight time, briefing and debriefing, theory, trial flights, vouchers, billing packages, away-airfield fuel: the invoice run settles all of it in one pass, with preview and breakdown per invoice. Instructor statements are created in the same run.
